David Emerson Grover passed out of this life on Sunday, March 16, at the age of 71. He was born on Feb. 19, 1954, in Greenfield, Ohio to the late Cecil and Mae (Douglas) Grover, and was raised on a farm near Rocky Fork Lake. He graduated from Edward Lee McClain High School in 1972 and attended Wilmington College and Southern State Community College. He worked with his father at the Florea Real Estate Office. David lived a life of community service. He was a member of the Liberty Lion's Club, serving as a past president. For many years he headed up their annual candy sale, parked cars at the Highland County Fair, and taught the Leo Club at Hillsboro High School. He was a long time member of the Hillsboro Global Methodist Church where he operated the audio visual equipment for each service and served in many positions of leadership. Prior to moving to Hillsboro he attended the Rainsboro United Methodist Church. David was a fan of Hillsboro High School sports and was in attendance at alm
